We employed the same technique that we used in Lab 2 (CCD Imaging) to
find the absolute gain and read noise of the infrared array. Here we found the
absolute gain to be about 23.550.63
read noise to be 26.836.1 DN. I have included Figure
2 to show how we found the value for the gain
and read noise.
Here is the plot that we got for our absolute gain. We found
the absolute gain to be about 23.55
and the read noise
to be about 26.83 DN.
