Step-by-step instructions
- Set telescope to zenith and turn of telescope power to prevent telescope
from moving
- Shut off compressor and immediately disconection the high pressure
He lines from the cold head to prevent contamination from entering the lines
(check the CTI instructions for complete details). Be sure to use the special
CTI wrenches from the green tool box
- Cover hose end with caps
- Disconconnet 12 V cold-head motor supply
- Levelshifter
- Turn of DC power supply for preamp/lever shifter
- Disconnect beigh computer cables (DB 25 & 37) at preamp/level
shifter end. Disconnect at IRCAM computer end
- Disconnect the stepper motor/home switch/temperature diode cable
(round Mil connector on dewar body)
- Disconnect DB 9 on preamp/levelshiter
- Remove dewar from telescope
- Support dewar base with jack
- Remove screws (screws 11/16ths facing down)
