Discriminator
Pulses from the Pulse-Amplifier are connected to Channel B on the back of the Discriminator Box.  Voltages that exceed a height set by the potentiometer on the front panel are converted to +5 volt TTL compatible pulses.  The output of the Discriminator is sent to the Sqwaker and Pulse-shaper.

Sqwaker
The Sqwaker will make a click sound every time the Discriminator sends out a pulse.  Use the Gain-knob to change the volume, and use the Rate-knob to divide the click-sound rate if the sound is just static.

Pulse-shaper
These pulses are then stretched to 140 nanosecond width and enter the counter card mounted inside the computer (rphot).
